In an official statement by PUBG Mobile Esports via Youtube, PUBG Mobile has announced that they have decided to add 2 more slots from the PUBG Mobile Pro League South Asia Season 1 to qualify for the PUBG Mobile World League East

In the official post, PUBG Mobile added, one slot will be given to the fourth-place finish of the regular league play standings and another to the third place of the PMPL South Asia Finals.

This change directly awards Team SynerGE that placed 4th in the PMPL South Asia Regular Season.

SynerGe, also formerly known as Synergy Gaming, had previously qualified for the PUBG Mobile Fall Split Prelims 2019 in Kuala Lumpur in which they placed 10th overall.

SynerGe will be using this opportunity to take a step further in the PUBG Mobile World League 2020.

PUBG Mobile Esports also added that they are making core changes to the first season of the PUBG Mobile World League.

They also clarified that these changes for the PMPL South Asia will not affect any other regions in a harmful way via taking their slots and etcetera.

With the new addition of slots from the PMPL South Asia League, a total of 7 slots will be allocated to the South Asia teams which include Indian teams, Bangladesh teams and Nepali teams.
