BiuBiu announces his break from the PUBG Mobile competitive scene, leaves Team Secret

PUBG Mobile professional player and streamer, Kow Jiunn Jie (BiuBiu) has announced that he will be taking a break from the PUBG Mobile competitive scene and has now focused on his career as a content creator and full-time streamer on Facebook.

This announcement was made public on by BiuBiu himself via a livestream on Facebook titled ‘Hi. 5 Minutes, No more and No Less’ where he stated his move to retire from the competitive scene as step down from the Team Secret organisation.

In his livestream, BiuBiu addressed his gratitude for Team Secret for everything they have done and thanked fans who helped him along the way.

“I will be stepping down from the competitive scene.

“It has been a humbling journey and thank you to al the fans who have supported me throughout all the hard times.

“I have learnt a lot of stuff during my years in the competitive scene and for me I will be entering a new phase in my life,” said BiuBiu

BiuBiu previously participated in various international tournaments such as the PUBG Mobile World League (PMWL) East 2020 under professional e-sports organisation Team Secret where he achieved what most Malaysian e-sport Players couldn’t.

He is one of the very few players that have set foot in the global tournament twice in his career, one for the PMCO Global Preliminaries in 2019 and the other in the PMWL East 2020 that was held just this August.

BiuBiu is also known for his Youtube channel that mainly focuses on PUBG Mobile content which currently has over 907,000 subscribers.

His fast growing Youtube channel also made him the first Malaysian e-sports player to ever win a Malaysian Book of Records award for “Most Views For Single E-Sport Video on YouTube”.
