WITH the PUBG Mobile Pro League South Asia (PMPL SA) Finals inching closer and closer, who will grab the two precious slots to the world league by merit, accompanying the likes of Orange Rock, TSM Entity, and GodLike?

In a recent interview, after a recent chicken dinner during Week 2 Day 4, Team Soul’s captain, Naman Mathur (Mortal) addressed the team’s opinion on maintaining their positivity throughout the tournament.

“The most important thing is to have a positive team discussion and foreseeing a lot of things in the future.

“To maintain positivity in the group, past results should not affect upcoming rounds in the tournament,” added Mortal.

He also said in the post-match interview that they will mainly be preparing for the PMPL SA finals and that it would be their main priority to book a slot in the Pubg Mobile World League East.

Team Soul, a fan-favourite team of the Indian Pubg Mobile community, ended their regular season run with a total of 434 points settling in 8th position out of the 16 teams that managed to qualify for the finals.

With that, they managed to secure 4 total Chicken Dinners with one of the chicken dinners being the final game of the tournament.

They also managed to grab a total of 184 kills throughout the 48 matches played.

Soul’s new and improved roster for Pmpl South Asia consists of popular streamer Naman Mathur (Mortal), Yash Paresh Soni (Viper) as their support, Parv Singh (Regaltos) as their in-game leader, Aman Jain (Aman) as their middle man and Dhruv Sangwan (Sangwan) as their assaulter.

If Soul manages to book their spot in the World League with a top 2 finish, this will be the 3rd consecutive time for the team to secure a spot in the global stage with previous achievements including qualifying to PUBG Mobile Club Open: Spring Split 2019 and Fall Split 2019 Finals.

Team Soul was formed on December 21st, 2018 with:

  • Mortal
  • Harpreet Singh (Ronak)
  • Mohammed Owais (Owais)
  • Yash Paresh Soni (Viper)

They competed as a newly formed Team Soul in Dreamhack Mumbai 2018 and has undergone major roster changes since then.

The current roster of Team Soul:

  • Mortal
  • Viper
  • Parv Singh (ReGalTos)
  • Aman Jain (AMAN)
  • Dhruv Sangwan (Sangwan)
