Team Celtz shows an astounding performance as they manage to clinch the top spot on Day 1 of the PUBG Mobile Pro League South Asia Finals (PMPL SA).

Team Celtz, a heavy underdog who only placed 13th with 359 total points in the regular season, leads the pack on the first day, ahead of second-place Orange Rock by 11 points.

Team Celtz managed to grab a Chicken Dinner in the last match of the first day in Erangel with 10 total kills.

This threw Team Celtz a huge leap in the leaderboards from the 7th rank with 41 points in the previous Vikendi map.

Team Celtz also played consistently by racking up some placement points by getting a second-place finish in the Vikendi match.

Team Orange Rock and Godlike both sat in second and third place with 62 total points each.

Both teams however already qualified for the PUBG Mobile World League East by finishing in top-4 in the PMPL SA Regular Season.

The other two teams who have already qualified for the world league, TSM-Entity and SynerGE are placed 10th and 11th respectively on the first day of the finals.

On the first day of the PMPL SA Finals, UMEx420op from U Mumba Esports leads in the kill leaderboards with 15 kills with 2397 overall damage, followed by GodLGill, TeamINDSnax, TxDemon, and MGZeDMoxKosh.

Team Celtz alongside other teams will be targeting for a top 3 finish in the PMPL SA Finals to advance to the World League where they will face skilled teams from around the world.
